2013 ... One of the team leaders, she led the Panther defense with 64 total solo tackles and added 24 assisted stops as well... tied her career try mark as she scampered for a score at Kentucky... set new personal tackle amount with 25 solo stops and seven assisted tackles versus same Wilcat team... EIU Top 25:  Her 64 season solo tackles rank No. 11 in the single-season ranks.. as does her 24 assisted stops tied for 17th all-time... already ranked No. 10 for all-time solo tackles with 128, while No. 17 for assisted numbers with 39.

2012 ... Playing in seven games as a sophomore, Wilson tied or set personal bests in every stat category... secured 10 solo tackles in EIU's big win at Kansas State... dished out two assists and earned a steal-at-tackle vs. Lindenwood... earned her fourth career try with a score at Middle Tennessee State.

2011 ... Saw play in all ten games as a true freshman where she earned stat numbers in nearly ever category... earned her first career try as EIU routed Purdue to end the season undefeated... also had a run over 20-yards in that same victory... twice recorded six solo stops, including the key win at nearby foe Illinois... also registered a pair of assisted stops four times, with the last such performance coming in EIU's third game series win over NCAA DI newcomer Quinnipiac.

HIGH SCHOOL ... Earned three letters in track, basketball and softball ... played for coach Kelly Brookman at Robinson HS... was an Illinois State Scholar.

PERSONAL ... Her No. 1 sports highlight was "going undefeated in rugby my freshman year here here at EIU"... majoring in biology while at EIU... the daughter of Brian & Julie Wilson.

OFF THE PITCH WITH ELLEN ... ‘Big L' or 'El' chose to come to EIU "for the education and athletic experience"... currently driving a 2009 Pontiac G6... loves eating lasagna, but lothes peas... can't go anywhere without her phone... her family owns a mutt named Hazel... would love to be able to switch places with Oprah Winfrey for a day, "because she runs the world"... one of her favorite vacation memories was "going to Boston and seeing all the historical sites"... her favorite place on campus is the Doudna steps... her favorite quote is "every song ends but is that any reason not to enjoy the music" (One Tree Hill).
