SENIOR (2009-10): Second Team All-OVC… OVC All-Tournament Team… OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll... Kloak started all 34 games, a new EIU single-season record… led the team in blocked shots and ranked second in scoring and rebounding… led the team in free throws made and attempted, helping EIU lead the OVC in both categories and establish new single-season program records… scored in double figures 23 times, including 20-plus points four times… scored in double figures in seven consecutive games from Jan. 16 to Feb. 6, the longest streak on the team in 2009-10… recorded three double-doubles in wins at Tennessee Tech, at Murray State and vs. UT Martin in the OVC Tournament… scored 17 of her team-high 20 points in the second half of the win at Morehead State… had 20 points and 15 rebounds in the win at Murray State that clinched a share of the OVC title… scored a season-high 21 points in the win at SIU Edwardsville… also had 20 points in the loss at Miami (Ohio)… helped EIU advance to Nashville for the OVC Final Four with 19 points and nine rebounds in the first-round win against Tennessee State… posted a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double in tourney semifinal win vs. UT Martin… scored in double figures in all three OVC Tournament games, averaging 15.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game… led the team in scoring (12.5 ppg) in true road games… averaged 13.2 points per game on 51 percent shooting from the field during the 13-game win streak… led the team in scoring during the perfect 9-0 January, averaging 13.4 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the field… OVC Rankings: second in blocked shots, seventh in field goal percentage, ninth in scoring and rebounding, and 10th in free throw percentage… EIU Single-Season Rankings: first in free throws made, second in free throws attempted, and 10th in rebounds… EIU All-Time Rankings: fifth in free throws made and attempted, and seventh in blocks.
JUNIOR (2008-09): OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll... Kloak played in all 33 games and started the Indiana State and Illinois State contests… proved to be EIU’s most consistent bench scorer, registering points in all but one game… posted a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double in the home win against Morehead State, leading all players in both categories… scored 14 points over the final six minutes of the first half of that win… also had 12 points and eight rebounds in the road win at Morehead… scored in double-figures (14 and 15) in both games against Southeast Missouri as well… tied the EIU single-game field goal percentage record with a 5-of-5 showing in the home win against UT Martin… was 7-of-10 from the field in the OVC Tournament, scoring eight points in the games against Tennessee Tech and Austin Peay… scored in double-figures nine times total… ranked third on the team in scoring in conference play, averaging 10 points per game (good for 23rd in the league) on 52 percent shooting (which ranked third)… was 14th in the league in OVC play with a .722 free throw percentage… shot 56 percent from the field and 78 percent at the line during the 20-game home win streak… played her best in January, ranking second on the team in scoring (11.2 ppg) while shooting 58 percent from the field and 81 percent at the line… OVC Rankings: 10th in blocks and 30th in scoring.
SOPHOMORE (2007-08): OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll... she played in all 32 games and started 11 straight in November through January… scored in double-figures in six straight games during that starting streak… was a second-half hero, scoring 137 of her total 220 points (62 percent) after halftime… averaged 12.4 points per game during the Panthers’ 5-0 December… led EIU in scoring with a career-high 22 points on personal-best 8-of-12 shooting in the win at Morehead State, registering 17 points in the second half… posted her first career double-double (16 points, 14 rebounds) while playing a career-high 39 minutes in the conference-opening overtime win against Tennessee Tech… scored EIU’s final nine points in regulation and registered 15 of her 16 points in the second half in that overtime victory… stepped up big in the final weekend of the regular season, scoring a team-high 16 points in the win against Jacksonville State and chipping in 10 versus Samford… was 7-of-8 from the field in the Jax State victory… was 7-of-8 at the free throw line in the OVC Tournament championship, helping keep EIU in the game… went for 14 points and eight rebounds against Indiana State, a performance that foreshadowed her emergence as a go-to player… nearly posted a double-double in the home loss to Southeast Missouri, recording 10 points and nine rebounds… registered 11 points on 7-of-8 shooting at the free throw line in the win at Tennessee Tech… made 20-of-25 free throws in the final six games of the season to push her season percentage above 70... did not foul out of a game.
FRESHMAN (2006-07): She played in 17 games… registered a three-point play in the win over Tennessee State… also scored field goals at Murray State and versus Samford… logged a season-high eight minutes, going 2-of-4 at the free throw line, in the victory over Illinois-Springfield… played some key first-half minutes in the home loss to Austin Peay… recorded three assists to just one turnover.
HIGH SCHOOL: Maggie was a four-year letter-winner for coach Dave Power… also lettered once in track and field and lacrosse… Illinois Basketball Coaches Association all-star… Suburban Life Newspapers all-area selection… honorable mention All-East Suburban Catholic Conference… team captain and ESCC all-star her senior year… 2005 Dundee Crown Christmas Classic All-Tournament Team… Fenwick won four consecutive ESCC championships… four-time sectional champs and three-year Elite 8 qualifiers… FHS finished second in state her freshman year and third her sophomore season… four-year student council vice president… Rev. Steven Smithers, O.P., award for outstanding leadership in student government (2006)… played four years for the Illinois Wildcats (club) and two years for the Illinois Hustle (AAU).
PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was playing in the IHSA state championship game her freshman year at Fenwick… her father has been a major influence on her sports career because “he has always been my greatest supporter and No. 1 fan since I started playing basketball”… most admires her AAU coach Mike Williams because “he encouraged and challenged me to work hard and improve my game; Coach Williams instilled in me a desire to compete”… her brother Dan played basketball at St. Mary’s University of Winona, Minnesota… daughter of Richard and Rose Kloak… MAJOR: Political Science.
