No. 1 sports highlight was "when i first represented the Panthers in my first college tournament"... credits his parents for having the biggest influence on his sports career, "because since I was a little kid they wanted me to come to the U.S. to play collegiate sport."

OFF THE LINKS WITH OSCAR ... Chose EIU "for its location, quality of its business faculty and to play golf at a competitive level"... feels one of Eastern's advantages over other schools in the state and in the league include "the fact that the community of Charleston provides great activities off campus"... in his free time he enjoys playing ping-pong, pool and tennis, as well as watching movies and hanging out with friends... drives a 2007 Mercury Montego... enjoys eating Brazilian bbq, Thai-food and Shawarama... he can't go anywhere without his headphones... favorite tv shows include How I Met Your Mother, Suits, Entourage, and The League... since coming to EIU he has learned "the importance of friendship, time-management skills, leadership and networking"... his favorite building on campus is Lumpkin Hall... enjoyed watching former Panther football great Jimmy Garoppolo perform at EIU's O'Brien Field... his advice to a younger golfer would be "if you want to compete in a higher level, they should spend more time trying to improve their short-game instead of the long-game... because if a player is able to hit his approach shots close to the hole, the chances are very good that the player will shoot lower scores"... his favorite quote is -- "by looking back, you soon realize how important looking forward can be."
