2015-16 Women's Swimming Roster
Biography
2015-16 ... Competed in nine different events during her senior season... saw her name placed in the EIU record book in four different events... ranks second in the 200-IM, third in the 100 and 200-Breast, and 10th in the 200-Free... earned a top 15 finish in the 200-IM, 100-Breast and 200-Breast at the Summit League meet... swam as the opening leg in the 800-Free Relay.
2014-15 ... Added her name to three EIU record book marks, all coming at the end-of-season league meet... now sports the 4th best time in the 200-IM, while also ranked 5th in both the 200-Breast and 400-IM races... swam in multiple relay units, including the opening and anchor legs of the 800-Free and second leg in the 400-Medley.
2013-14 ... Saw action in the winter portion of the season after transferring to EIU from Marshall... swam the back, breast and individual medley events... setting four season-best marks at the end-of-season Summit League meet preliminaries.
MARSHALL ... Transferred to EIU during the mid-season following a year at Marshall.
HIGH SCHOOL ... Won six individual West Virginia state titles during her high school swimming days for her mother, Donna Ferguson, who also happened to be her head coach at Weir High School... captured first place in both the 100 breast and 200 individual medley events, while also being selected as the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference 'Swimmer of the Year' and a three-time all-state honoree... also earned seven West Virginia Region One championships and won six additional OVAC events, while also earning a pair of state champion team honors as a member of the track team... a two-time National Honor Society member.
