SENIOR (2017): Started and played in 18 matches for the Panthers logging 1,712 minutes in the net...Recorded 91 saves on the season with a national game-high 16 saves vs. Western Michigan... Tallied six shutouts on the season... Collected three Player of the Week Accolades during his senior campaign bringing his career total to seven POW honors... Recorded a GAA of .95 and a save percentage of .835 ranking fourth for single-season records...Novotny now ranks first in career minutes played and games played in goal with 5,954 minutes and 65 career games in the net... His 286 career saves ranks third on the all-time list...Earned Summit League Goalkeeper of the Year and All-First Team honors...

JUNIOR (2016): Started in 17 matches during his junior season... finished the season with a 5-10-1 record... earned four shutout victories... accumulated 59 saves on the year... earned a career best 1.39 goals against average placing him just outside of the top-nine single-season record list at EIU... recorded a .720 save percentage on the year... recorded season high six saves in three different matches... logged 1,486:57 minutes in the net for EIU which ranks seventh at EIU for most goalie minutes in a single season... back-to-back Summit League Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 24 and Oct. 31... 

SOPHOMORE (2015): Started 15 matches in the net for EIU... made 75 saves throughout the year finishing the season with a 2.81 goals against average... logged 1377:51 minutes between the posts... recorded one shutout on the season during EIU's 1-0 victory over IUPUI Oct. 25... season high 12 saves against Summit League champions Denver on Oct. 31... finished the season ranked 2nd in the OVC for total saves and saves per game... his five saves per game average also ranked eleventh in the NCAA... moved to eighth on the EIU career saves list with 136 saves in his two years as a Panther... also moved to eighth all-time for career matches played and minutes in goal logging 2755 minutes in the net over his 30 career matches played... won back-to-back Summit League Goalkeeper of the Week awards on Oct. 26 and Nov. 2... 

FRESHMAN (2014): Appeared in 15 matches, making 14 starts... made 61 saves on the season with a 1.82 goals against average... played second half in shutout win over Saint Francis... had shutout win over Fort Wayne in Summit League play... first career win was against Culver-Stockton... 

HIGH SCHOOL:,Three-year varsity starter… was a four-year State ODP Player… was a two-year Region II ODP Player… named to the 2013 Kane County All-Area Team… played club soccer on Campton United… played for former EIU men's soccer player Paul Jennison at St. Charles East.
