2018- All-OVC Second Team

2019 (SENIOR): appeared in 15 games making five starts on the mound for the Panthers his senior year..finished the season with an ERA of 5.59 in 46.2 innings of work...He recorded 42 strikeouts on the season...had his longest outting against Lindenwood (IL) on March, 27th tossing eight innings and recorded a season-high 10 strikeouts..

2018 (JUNIOR): appeared in 13 games and started 12 in his first year at EIU...earned a spot in the starting rotation on February 27 at Lindenwood where he made his first career start..led the Panthers in innings pitched with 69...posted a record of 7-3 in his junior campaign with 54 strikeouts...at the conclusion of the 2018 season Jones earned the honor of being named to the All-OVC second team...had a season high six strikeouts three times throughout his junior year against Eastern Kentucky, Morehead State, and Austin Peay..

McHenry County CC: Jones is a right handed pitcher that led McHenry County Community College to the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference Championship this past season for coach Jared Wacker.  Jones took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and ended with a one-hit shutout in the conference championship clincher.  He would go 7-1 during the season with 59 strikeouts in 53.2 innings of work and a 2.85 earned run average.  Jones was named Conference Pitcher of the Year, and a second team All-Region IV selection.  The tall pitcher played high school baseball at H.D. Jacobs High School in Algonquin, Ill.
