2023 (SENIOR): Played in 21 games during the 2023 season missing a portion of the season due to injury... hit .306 for the year with 21 starts at shortstop... did not play in the OVC Tournament run due to injury but was inserted as a pinch runner in both NCAA Regional games against Vanderbilt and Xavier... had six RBI with two doubles and one home run... home run was at Morehead State during one of six multi-hit games for the season... laid down seven sacrifice bunts during the year... scored 14 runs including two in season opening win at Florida A&M... 

2022 (JUNIOR): Played in all 38 games this season primarily at shortstop... hit .231 on the season in 104 plate appearances with three doubles and a home run... was walked 19 times on the season and held a .355 on-base percentage... lead the team in sacrifice bunts with 10 (2nd in the OVC)... in the field, Akbar posted 55 put-outs and 75 assists with a .922 fielding percentage... had five multi-hit games including a three hit game in a 9-7 win at Austin Peay (April 14)... had two multi-RBI games at Tennessee Tech (April 30) and at home against SEMO (May 20)... went 7-8 in stolen base attempts...

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played at Olney CC... hit .328 as a sophomore in 2021 with 42 runs scored, 12 stolen bases, 29 RBI and one home run... appeared in 13 games during a shortened 2020 season.. hit .194 during his freshman season with 13 runs scored, two stolen bases, an five RBI...

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Pleasure Ridge Park HS...
