JULIO ANTHONY’S COLLEGIATE CAREER

JUNIOR (2006-07): Appeared in 13 games in the opening portion of the season after transferring from Cowley County (KS) Community College... missed second semester due to NCAA Academic rules... averaged 2.8 points and 0.7 assists in opening games... had season high 10 points against DePaul... shot 52 percent from the floor, 50 percent from 3-point range and was 7-of-7 from free throw line prior to Academic ruling.

SOPHOMORE (2005-06): Played at Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City, Kan... honorable mention All-Jayhawk East Conference selection... averaged 12.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game... scored 37 points in two games at Region VI Tournament to be named to All-Tournament team... team-best six steals against St. Gregory and 9 free throws made against Allen County... team finished 16-16, fourth in Jayhawk East Conference.

FRESHMAN (2004-05): Played at CCCC earning honorable mention All-Jayhawk East Conference selection.. averaged 10.1 points hitting 42 percent from 3-point range... connected on six 3-pointers against Labette and Highland... team posted a 21-11 record, fourth in Jayhawk East Conference.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Charlotte’s Victory Christian High School under head coach Glenn McClettie...averaged 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals as a senior... first-team All-Charlotte Observer as a senior...first team All-Mecklenburg as a senior... Victory Award for Player of the Year for three straight seasons.

PERSONAL: Considers his father the biggest influence on his sports career because "he never let me quit anything, even if it was outside of sports"... greatest sports moment was "winning the state championship as a junior in high school and beating nationally ranked Coffeyville CC during sophomore night at Cowley County CC"... parents are Crystal and Russell Anthony... majoring in computer information sciences.
