Oct. 1, 1938 - Charles Hall Becomes First EIU African-American Athlete
Oct. 14, 1978 - EIU Dominates 1978 Mid-Continent Cross Country Championship
March 11, 1992 - EIU Returns From Winning Mid-Continent Basketball Title
November 17, 2001 - EIU Volleyball Captures OVC Tournament Title & NCAA Berth
