2023 (RS-SOPHOMORE): Appeared in two games during the season, both out of the bullpen... pitched a season high 1.0 innings of relief against Illinois Wesleyan with 0.1 innings of relief against Morehead State... had an ERA of 27.00 for the year... 

2022 (SOPHOMORE): Did not appear in any games during the season...

2021 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in eight games as a pitcher with one start on the season... made lone start on Feb. 23 at Southern Illinois pitching a season high 2.1 innings... posted a 1-0 record on the year with a 14.14 ERA in 7.0 innings of work... picked up win with 0.2 innings of relief at Morehead State (April 17)... had five strikeouts for the season with a high of two at Morehead State (April 17)... 

2020 (FRESHMAN):  Made two appearances in the 14 games played... Notched 2.1 innings pitched and ended with a 11.57 ERA in his first year of collegiate action  

HIGH SCHOOL: Chao has played a big role for the Hornets as he's pitched on varsity since freshman year and worked his way up to being one of the Hornets top performers... In the summer, Chao played for the Flipping Frogs coached by Ken Jones.
