SENIOR (2015): Earned first team All-Ohio Valley Conference team honors... named second team All-Mideast Region by American Baseball Coaches Association... became EIU career hits leader on April 15 against Illinois College... finished career with 297 hits which ranked fourth on OVC all-time hits list... won OVC batting race with a .407 average, which ranked 9th in the nation at the end of the regular season... became the second EIU player to win back-to-back OVC batting titles joining Erik Huber (2006 & 2007)... became the fourth EIU player in school history with two or more .400 seasons... career average of .376 ranks tied for third on EIU career list... finishes career ranked 9th for doubles (46), sixth for runs scored (156), second in walks (111) and second in at-bats (789)... had 24 multi-hit games including four games with four hits (Memphis on 3/15, Eastern Kentucky on 4/26, Saint Louis on 4/28 and SIU Edwardsville on 5/16)... season high 12 game hit streak snapped on May 15 at SIUE before ending EIU career 4-for-6 on May 16 to hit over .400... had six RBI and three doubles on March 31 against Illinois State... had four games with multiple doubles... had nine outfield assists... second on team in stolen bases going 7-for-10...Â
JUNIOR (2014): Earned All-OVC Second Team honors… set the EIU single-season record for hits with 94… finished the year ranked third nationally in batting average (.420) while ranking seventh in hits (94) and on-base percentage (.492)… led the OVC in batting average and on-base percentage… also added a team-high 51 runs and nine stolen bases… hit 11 doubles and recorded 32 RBI… finished the year ranked sixth in single-season school history in batting average (.420)… became the first player to hit over .400 in a season since Brett Nommensen in 2009… increased his batting average to .433 in OVC play… also finished the year ranked fourth in single-season school history in at-bats (224) and seventh in on-base percentage (.492)… had six hits at Eastern Kentucky on May 4, the most hits in a game by an OVC player during the season… hit .500 (27-for-54) with RISP… also hit .534 (39-for-73) as the leadoff hitter in an inning… led the team with 30 multi-hit games while adding eight multi-RBI games… also added a .469 slugging percentage… ended the year reaching base safely in 35 straight games… finished the year ranked seventh all-time in school history in hits (223), tied for ninth in walks (84) and tied for seventh in sacrifice hits (9).
SOPHOMORE (2013): Named to the All-OVC Second Team as an outfielder… played in 46 games, making 45 starts… led the team in batting average (.362) and on-base percentage (.442)… finished the year ranked fourth in the OVC in batting average and eighth in on-base percentage…  had 64 hits, 29 runs, seven doubles and a triple… also had two home runs… hit his first career home run at Tennessee Tech on April 14… also had 20 RBI and four stolen bases… hit .340 with RISP (17-for-50) and .361 (26-for-72) with runners on base… also hit .514 (38-for-74) as the leadoff hitter in an inning… posted a .377 batting average in OVC play with a .500 slugging percentage and a .438 on-base percentage… had 19 multi-hit games and ended the year on an eight-game hit streak.
FRESHMAN (2012): Named to the All-OVC Freshman Team… posted a .316 batting average (65-for-206), the third highest on the team… led the team in runs scored with 37 (tied with Ryan Dineen)… also had 19 RBI and nine doubles… played in 57 games, making 54 starts… was 4-for-11 in stolen bases… had a .359 slugging percentage and a .400 on-base percentage… improved his batting average to .394 during OVC play, the fourth highest in the conference… posted a .370 batting average when batting as the leadoff hitter in an inning… ranked second in the team in multi-hit games with 20… also had four multi-RBI games… finished the year on an 11 game hitting streak… went 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI in his first career game versus Mississippi Valley State on Feb. 17.Â
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four year letterwinner in baseball… also played football and basketball… was a three-time all-conference honoree and two-time all-state selection… finished his career at Jacksonville HS as the record holder to six career records and three single-season records… also earned all-conference academic honors three times in both baseball and football… played club baseball for the Midwest Stallions.
