CAREER STATS

SENIOR (2015): Played in 28 ames making 20 starts at second base... hit .240 ending season with a six game hitting streak... was 2-for-4 in final collegiate game at SIU Edwardsville on May 16... had three doubles with two coming against Benedictine-Springfield... lone home run of the season was April 28 against Saint Louis... 

JUNIOR (2014): Played in 52 games, making 42 starts… hit .213 with 20 runs, 16 RBI and six doubles… went 3-for-3 in stolen bases… increased his batting average to .231 in OVC play… hit .220 with RISP and had six two-out RBI… had six multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games… finished the year with 18 career sacrifice bunts, tied for the sixth most in school history.

SOPHOMORE (2013): Played in 33 games, making 28 starts… hit .258 with 16 RBI and 13 runs… also had a .280 slugging percentage and a .355 on-base percentage… made starts at shortstop and second base during the season… had five multi-hit games… hit .344 (11-for-32) with RISP.

FRESHMAN (2012): Played in 19 games, making nine starts… hit .259 (7-for-27) with four RBI, three runs and two doubles… was 1-for-1 in stolen bases… hit .429 (3-for-7) in conference play… collected his first career hit in the Panthers 3-2 win over No. 14 Louisville on Feb. 28… made his first career start against Iowa on March 12… saw action at both shortstop and second base. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four year letterwinner in baseball… also played hockey… earned All-DVC Conference honors… selected to the honor roll all four years of high school… played club baseball for the DTA Wildcats.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Joel and Elaine Sauer… relative Kevin Kouzmanoff plays for the Texas Rangers.
