REDSHIRT-SENIOR (2012): Played in 53 games, making 49 starts… posted a .229 batting average (41-for-179) with 31 runs and 18 RBI… also had six home runs, 13 doubles and one triple… had a .413 slugging percentage… went 6-for-7 in stolen bases… recorded six sacrifice hits… had 10 multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games… went 1-for-3 with three RBI, a run and homer in the Panthers 4-3 win over Bradley on May 15 in his final game at Coaches Stadium. 

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2011): Played in 25 games, making 12 starts… hit .193 on the year with 11 hits and eight runs… hit .235 (4-for-17) with four runs and two RBIs in OVC contests… posted his first career hit at Southern Miss on Feb. 18… also started his first game against Southern Miss… hit his first career home run against Illinois College on April 13… was 1-for-4 with three runs and four RBIs against Illinois College… had two multi-hit games… saw action as a pinch hitter on nine occasions.

JUNIOR (2010): Did not see action during his first season with the program.

LAKE LAND COLLEGE (2008-09): Batted over .300 during the 2009 and 2008 seasons… posted a .373 batting average in 2008 with seven home runs and 28 RBIs… earned All-Great Rivers Athletic Conference honors in 2008… was a team captain during both seasons.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-year letterwinner in baseball… also earned four letters in football and two letters in basketball… hit a school record 10 home runs as a senior… selected to the play in the Illinois Coaches Association All-Star Game as a senior… earned All-Area and All-West Suburban Gold Conference honors by the Daily Herald… played for coaches Paul Parpet and Al Lierman.

PERSONAL: Son of Dave and Norma Ciaglia… majoring in kinesiology and sports studies with a teacher’s certification.
