2008: Chillman played in 13 games and started the spring break trip finale against Bucknell and the midweek win at Illinois State… plated a run with sacrifice fly in game two of the Northwestern State series… registered a pinch hit RBI double against Western Michigan… recorded a run-scoring single during EIU’s five-run fifth inning against Bucknell.

2007: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Chillman was a three-year letter-winner for coach Chris Frankiewcz at Plainfield High School… also lettered in football… earned all-area honors as a sophomore but suffered a broken arm his junior season… participated in the White Sox Training Academy the past three years.

PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was "the day I signed my NLI to play at Eastern, I went 3-for-3 with two grand slams and nine RBIs"… his father has been a major influence on his sports career because "he has pushed me to get the most out of my ability"… most admires Austin Rappe, an All-American at Virginia Tech who "couldn’t go pro because he’s legally blind, so he brought his knowledge to our travel team"… enjoys watching movies… son of Karen and Peter Chillman… MAJOR: Undecided.
