2010: Burau did not see action due to a shoulder injury and will apply for a medical redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Burau was a two-year letter-winner for coaches John Walters and Dan McCarthy… also lettered twice in hockey and once in football and basketball… batted .449 with nine home runs and 34 RBIs as a senior to earn All-DuPage Valley Conference honors as well as Honorable Mention All-Area kudos from the Daily Herald… also led the team with 28 runs scored, a .544 on-base percentage and .899 slugging percentage… also played for the DuPage Training Academy Wildcats in the summer.

PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was hitting three home runs in one game against Plainfield South High School… his mother has been a major influence on his sports career because “she taught me the game”… most admires his former coach Adam Schultz because “he’s always been there for me and has showed me what it takes to be successful… his uncle Charles played football at EIU… son of Cindy Burau… MAJOR: Kinesiology and Sports Studies.
