All-OVC Second Team - First Base (2019)

REDSHIRT SENIOR (2019): Appeared in 56 games with 56 starts in his final season at EIU..earned second team All-OVC honors as the first basemen led the Panthers in RBIs in 2019. Morris finished the season with 53 RBIs claiming fifth in the OVC. Morris finished the 2019 season with a .282 batting average, 111 total bases, 61 hits, 53 RBIs, 50 runs, 39 walks, 14 doubles, and 12 homeruns. Morris finished first in the OVC in putouts with 412 on the season..had a season-high five RBIs against Illinois College on April, 3rd...had a season-high four hits against Morehead State on April 18th.

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2018): Appeared in 49 games with 48 starts at first base..finished the season third in batting average with .326, 61 hits, 55 RBIs, 40 runs, 24 walks, 11 home runs, nine doubles, and two triples...finished in tenth for putouts in the OVC with 353...had a couple of grand slams throughout the season for the Panthers..had three-six RBI games throughout the 2018 season.

JUNIOR (2017): Suffered season-ending injury prior to the start of the season and earned a medical redshirt.

SOPHOMORE (2016): Played in 45 games with 33 starts split between first base and catcher... finished season hitting .227 with six doubles, two home runs, and 13 RBIs... had first career home run on Apr. 2 at Murray State... had five multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games... ended the season with an active two-game hitting streak and on-base streak... OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

FRESHMAN (2015): Played in 30 games with 18 starts behind the plate... finished season hitting .247 with four doubles and eight RBI... had first collegiate hit in opener on Feb. 13 at Georgia... drove home season high three RBI against Indiana State on April 8... have multiple hit games with a season high 3-for-6 at Morehead State on May 3... had a .992 field percentage at catcher... OVC Medal of Honor award winner... 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Paris HS earning All-Apollo Conference honors as a sophomore and junior... named Terre Haute Tribune Star Area Player of the Year in 2013... set four school records... as a junior hit .539... helped team post a winning season all four years with team advancing to IHSA Class 2A Regional in 2014... named first team All-State as a senior...
