REDSHIRT SENIOR (2011): Made nine appearances… posted a 5.59 ERA in 9.2 innings of work… recorded his first win with EIU at Bradley on May 17, striking out one and not allowing a hit in one inning of work… threw eight strikeouts and issued six walks.

SENIOR (2010): Was granted a medical redshirt.

JUNIOR (2009): Made five appearances… threw six strikeouts and surrendered four hits and one earned run in 7.1 innings of action… posted a 1.23 ERA… also had an at-bat on the road against UT Martin on April 11… tossed two strikeouts and did not allow a hit or a run in his first appearance at EIU in two innings of work at Southern Illinois on March 4.

LAKE LAND C.C. (2007-08): Was an Great Rivers Conference selection after batting .444 in 2007.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year letter winner in baseball… also lettered twice in soccer… led his team in wins, saves and runs scored as a senior… helped team to a regional championship in 2005… was a member of the National Honor Society… played for the Effingham Evolution E.I. summer team… played for Derrick Landrus, a former Panther basketball player.

PERSONAL: Son of Don and Bonnie Wilson… brother Kyle played baseball at EIU… majoring in kinesiology and sports studies with a teacher’s certification.
