SOPHOMORE (2013): Made 16 appearances with 13 starts on the mound… posted a 4.30 ERA with a 4-4 record… also had two complete games and one shutout… pitched in 88 innings, the eighth most in the OVC… led the Panthers with 65 strikeouts… issued 25 walks and allowed 58 runs (42 earned runs)… held opposing hitters to a .271 batting average, the ninth best mark in the conference and the second best mark of any underclassmen pitchers in the OVC… had a 4.12 ERA and a 3-2 record in conference play… posted his first complete game against SEMO on April 21, throwing seven strikeouts while allowing three runs (one earned), one walk and seven hits… also threw a complete-game shutout on May 17, throwing a season-high 12 strikeouts with two walks and only three hits… named OVC Pitcher of the Week twice, earning the award on April 22 and May 20.
FRESHMAN (2012): Made 15 appearances with three starts… posted a 1-0 record with a 5.70 ERA… also had one save… recorded 12 strikeouts and 20 walks in 23.2 innings… picked up his first career win on April 11 against Illinois College, allowing five hits and two runs (one earned) with two strikeouts in four innings of work… recorded his first career save at Jacksonville State on May 17, striking out two batters and surrendering two hits and one run in three innings.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two year letterwinner in baseball… also played basketball and golf… helped his team win a regional title in 2010… tossed 57 strikeouts to only seven walks as a junior in 38.1 innings of work... also helped his basketball team capture a regional title in 2011… earned all-conference and all-area honors in basketball as a senior… played club baseball for the Midwest Dodgers.
