2008: OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll... Boyer pitched in one game, making his EIU debut in the opening game of the Southeast Missouri series… worked the final inning of the game, striking out the side… also hit a batter and gave up a pair of home runs.

2007: Boyer redshirted during his first season at EIU.

PREVIOUS COLLEGE: He began his college experience at the University of St. Francis, an NAIA school in Joliet, Ill.

HIGH SCHOOL: He was a four-year letter-winner, playing as an upperclassman for coach Don Ericson… also lettered in cross country and golf as an underclassman… Reavis won conference and regionals in 2005… his District 15 summer league team was state champs in 2006.

PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was "pitching a complete game and going 5-for-5 at the plate against a high school rival that was also ranked fourth in the state"… his parents have been a major influence on his sports career because "they were always pushing me to do better and work harder"… most admires his father because "he taught me almost everything I know about the game of baseball"… enjoys playing video games… son of Keith and Roxanne Boyer… MAJOR: Career and Technical Education.
