2023 (SENIOR): Helped lead Eastern Illinois to third NCAA Regional appearance at the NCAA Division I level earning OVC Tournament MVP honors as team won five games to clinch tournament title... was a first-team All-OVC selection after leading team in batting average, home runs and RBI for a second straight year... earned first team All-Region honors by ABCA... was a finalist for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award... played in 59 games hitting .335 for the season with 15 home runs and 60 RBI... set EIU single season steal record with 29 in 31 overall attempts... 60 RBI for the season ranked fourth on the EIU single season list... had 24 multi-hit games during the season with a pair of four hit games against Butler and Morehead State... had 17 multi-RBI games with a season high of four against Bellarmine and Lindenwood... had a season long streak of reaching base in 26 consecutive games... ended season ranked eighth on EIU career RBI list with 138... ranked third on EIU career home run list with 36 and eighth on career stolen bases list with 38... also appeared in 19 games on the mound posting a 1-1 record with four saves... pitched 44 innings with 49 strike outs and a 4.91 ERA... had a season high eight strike outs at Arkansas State... 20th round selection in the MLB Draft by the Miami Marlins...Â
2022 (JUNIOR): One of top hitters in the OVC, Ignoffo appeared in 44 games with starts at first base, right field and designated hitter... lead the team in batting average (.395), hits (73), doubles (16), home runs (14), RBI (58) and slugging percentage (.708)... also pitched in four games this season with an ERA of 4.50 and was apart of one shutout... Ignoffo posted 22 games with multiple hits and 13 games with multiple RBI... held a 16 game hitting streak throughout the season, and ended the year reaching safely in 36 straight games... collected a hit in the first six games of the season including a four hit game with five RBI and three doubles at Tarleton State (Feb. 27)... collected four hits and four RBI in a win at UT Martin (March 26)... hit two home runs vs. Murray State at Lakeland Field (April 23)... made his pitching debut at Arkansas Little-Rock after throwing one inning and allowed no hits and no runs (Feb. 20)... was ranked in the following categories in the NCAA: 17th in batting average, 10th in hits per game (1.66), 11th in runs batted in per game (1.32) and 28th in slugging percentage... ranked second in the OVC in batting average, fourth in slugging percentage, eighth in RBI and ninth in home runs and doubles... won OVC Player of the Week on Feb. 28 for his performance against Tarleton State... First Team All-OVC...
2021 (SOPHOMORE): Two-way player that appeared in 20 total games with ten appearances as a position player and ten as a pitcher... as a batter hit .286 with three doubles, four home runs and 14 RBI... had four multiple hit games with a 4-for-5 game with 5 RBI against UT Martin (April 23)... had four additional multi-RBI games with three RBI against Austin Peay (May 8)... as a pitcher made ten appearances, all in relief... posted a 4-1 record with a 3.79 ERA in 19 innings of work... season long outing was 3.0 innings against SIUE (May 1)... picked up first win of the year with 1.2 innings of relief against Illinois State (March 24)... added wins against Maryville (April 13), SIUE (May 1) and Austin Peay (May 7)... had 29 strikeouts with a season high of five against SIUE (May 1)... had three other appearances with four strikeouts...Â
2020 (SOPHOMORE): Played in and started in eight of the 14 games this season... started off with a strong series against a top-ten ranked Arkansas... split time between right field and first base... tallied eight hits, including one of the three homer uns the Panthers had this season... finished the season with .258 batting average, two runs and two RBI...
2019 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 12 games making eight starts in his freshman year.. missed more than half the season with an injury..finished 2019 with a .344 average with 21 total bases, nine runs, six walks, four RBIs, two doubles, two home runs, and a triple..
HIGH SCHOOL:Â Infielder/ right hand pitcher from Cary-Grove High School....finished the 2017 season with a.405 average, 45 hits, 33 RBIs, 31 runs, 10 doubles, two triples, and two home runs...in 2018 he had an average of .349 with 57 hits, 51 RBIs, 19 doubles, five triples, and eight home runs..named All-Conference (2017, 2018), All-Area (2017, 2018), Offensive Player of the Year (2017), All-State (2018), Northwest Herald Player of the Year (2018), and Team MVP in 2018..
