2010 (Senior):  Made the switch from linebacker to fullback as a senior to help with a shortage at that position group...  appeared in just six games serving as a blocking back and on special teams... moved back to defensive end for senior day game against Austin Peay making one tackle for loss... named EIU Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year... Hampshire Honor Society Selection...  2009 (Junior): Played in 11 games as a linebacker earning two starts against Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State… ended season with 15 tackles (5 solo… season best was a five tackle game at Jacksonville State (2 solo… 2008 (Sophomore): Opened season as starter at middle linebacker with six starts... ranked among team leaders in tackles as a starter before finishing season 8th with 44 tackles... appeared in ten games... had two tackles for loss and one interception against Jacksonville State... recorded 11 tackles (7 solo) at UT Martin...also had eight tackles against Central Michigan and Indiana State... 2007 (Freshman): Appeared in 11 games including a start for injured All-American Donald Thomas during the Panthers homecoming win over Tennessee Martin... made a season high eight tackles (4,4) against UTM... finished season with 16 total tackles including 11 solo... second best season effort was four solo tackles versus Murray State. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played linebacker and fullback for coach Mike Sonneborn… rushed for 238 yards and one touchdown for Dade Christian team that finished 12-1… 127 tackles combined during junior and senior year with four sacks… season high 11 tackles in 40-0 win over Palmer Trinity... two-time All-County honoree by the Miami Herald... team captain... National Honor Society... Army Scholar-Athlete Award... also lettered in track and basketball. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in biology... OVC Medal of Honor winner holding a 4.00 GPA... son of Harry and Marie Marcelin... No. 1 sports highlight was when he intercepted a pass and later scored the winning touchdown in a regional championship game... brother Marvin played football at Duke.
