EIU: 2008 Outlook: Will start at wide receiver for second straight year... returns as Panthers most experienced wide receiver... 2007: Started all 12 games ranking second on team with 37 receptions and 33.4 receiving yards per game... season highs came at Indiana State with eight catches going for 93 yards... also returned eight punts... 2006: Academically ineligible... 2005: Caught eight passes for 131 yards in seven games... also had four punt returns for 24 yards... averaged 16.4 yards per reception to rank third on team... 2004: Caught 11 passes for 109 yards in the first four games as a ‘true’ freshman, but a broken arm ended his season... returned 10 punts for 51 yards.

HIGH SCHOOL: All-Palm Beach County and team captain for coach Sam Bryant at American Heritage HS, which was 2002 Class 2A Florida State runner-up... he also earned all-area honors and set a school record for receiving yards in a game... he lettered in baseball and basketball.

PERSONAL: Majoring in recreation administration... No. 1 sports highlight was “winning a game single handedly my junior year in a regional championship game”... son of Edward Jenkins... related to Shawn Jefferson, wide receiver with Detroit Lions.
