2012 (SENIOR): First team All-OVC selection at defensive end... started all 12 games... led OVC in sacks with 7.5... ranked sixth on the team with 58 tackles (28 solo)... led team with 13.5 tackles for loss... finished career ranked 5th in tackles for loss with 37.5 and seventh for career sacks with 20... had two sacks and four tackles for loss at Central Arkansas along with two forced fumbles... twice named OVC Defensive Player of the Week for games against Eastern Kentucky and Central Arkansas... season high nine tackles at Tennessee Tech...  2011 (JUNIOR): Second team All-OVC selection at defensive end... started all 11 games... ranked second in the OVC in sacks with 5.0 for 29 yards... was the team leader with 7.5 tackles for loss... ranked 6th on the team in total tackles with 45 (23 solo)... credited with seven quarterback hurries and two pass break-ups... season high eight tackles at Northwestern and at Southeast Missouri... had a season high two sacks at Austin Peay... 2010 (SOPHOMORE): Started all 11 games at defensive end... ranked seventh on the team with 52 tackles (25 solo) which was first among defensive linemen... led team with 4.5 sacks for 32 yards... added 12.5 tackles for loss... had four quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries... had a season high eight tackles in final game of the season at Illinois State... had a pair of pass break-ups at UT Martin and against Jacksonville State... 2009 (FRESHMAN): Played in all 12 games finishing with 17 tackles (9 solo)… had a big game to end the regular season with four solo tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack against Tennessee State… finished year with four tackles for loss and three sacks… also had four quarterback hurries. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played linebacker and defensive line for coach Jessie Hester on No. 1 ranked Florida 3A Glades Central HS... led team recording 95 tackles… defense led all of Palm Beach County allowing only 138.7 yards per game… listed as No. 24 area prospect by Sun Sentinel… first team All-Palm Beach County… named to Treasure Coast All-Star game… recorded a season-high 17 tackles in a 6-0, four overtime victory against Dwyer HS. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in kinesiology... son of Robyn and Robert Dowdell... No. 1 sports highlight was being part of OVC Championship team as a freshman.
