HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Brad Davis at Frenship HS in Wolfforth, Texas (located just outside of Lubbock)… helped team post a 10-1 record as a senior winning the 4A Region I, District 3 championships… advanced to Texas 4A playoffs… second team All-State, first team All-District as a senior… rushed for 1,640 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior… rushed for 1,471 yards as a sophomore with 15 touchdowns… battled injuries as a junior rushing for 763 yards and six touchdowns in half a season… All-South Plains MVP… All-City…
