As a freshman at Scottsdale CC split time at starting quarterback throwing for 1,110 yards and 7 TDs... prepped at Mesa Westwood High where he led the region in passing with 2,934 yards and 22 touchdowns earning first team Class 5A All-East Valley Region honors... also rushed for 527 yards and four touchdowns.
