EIU: 2008 Outlook: Powerful fullback who will start at that position... solid blocker and good pass catcher out of the backfield... All-OVC candidate... 2007: Played in first five games before suffering season ending ankle injury at Southeast Missouri... was one of the top scorers in the OVC prior to injury with six touchdowns including a three score game against Indiana State... had 22 carries for 121 yards, 5.5 yards per carry... long run was 32 yards... did not have a carry for loss on the season... also caught six passes for 48 yards... 2006: Appeared in only one game against Indiana State... 2005: ran 14 times for 43 yards and two touchdowns... his four yard TD run was the winning score to clinch the OVC championship in the 10-6 win at Jacksonville State... 2004: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: First team All-Apollo Conference for coach Mick Roberts at Paris HS... started all four years... as a senior he averaged 4.2 yards per carry, had 89 tackles as a linebacker and averaged 38.5 yards punting... holds school record for touchdowns... also lettered four times in track and twice in basketball.

PERSONAL: Majoring in corporate communications.. son of Joe and Sheila Keys... brother Ryan was a former walk-on on the EIU football team.
