Greg Carroll

Greg Carroll joined head coach Kim Dameron's Eastern Illinois staff as a full-time member after working as a graduate assistant and defensive quality control in 2015.  In addition to helping on the defensive side of the ball, Carroll helped oversee the Panthers film exchange.

During his first full-time season on staff in 2016, Carroll coached the Huskies group which featured two of the Panthers top tacklers on the season in Bradley Dewberry and Pono Choy.  That group combined for three interceptions and four forced fumbles including one returned for a touchdown by Choy at Southeast Missouri. 

Carroll began his coaching career as a student assistant coach under EIU head coach Dino Babers working with both the offensive and defensive staffs as the Panthers won back-to-back Ohio Valley Conference Championships in 2012 and 2013.

He remained as a student-assistant coach in 2014 under Coach Dameron earning his degree from EIU in 2015.
