EIU: 2009 Outlook: Candidate to start at defensive end after solid spring camp... will see time on special teams... 2008: Appeared in all 12 games making nine tackles with seven solo... had three tackles for loss... made six of his nine season tackles at Illinois (4 solo) including one tackle for loss... on special teams had two kick returns for a total of 41 yards against Eastern Kentucky and Murray State... 2007: Moved from high school position of linebacker to defensive end playing in four games on special teams... did not record any statistics... 2006: Redshirted. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned All-State mention from the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times prepping for coach Rob Zvonar at 13-0 Lincoln-Way East High School... team won IHSA Class 8A State Championship in 2005... named to all-area team by the Tribune, Sun-Times, Daily Southtown, Joliet Herald-News and Star Publications... All-SICA West Conference... team captain... career leader in sacks and tackles for loss... also All-Conference in basketball. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in education... No. 1 sports highlight was having "a huge sack in double overtime state championship game"... son of Laura Luczynski.
