2010 (Senior): Appeared in eight games starting final contest of the season at Illinois State... did not catch any passes at tight end position... had one kick off return for 15 yards at Tennessee Tech... made one special teams tackle at Tennessee State... 2009 (Junior): Started 11 games last season… did not play at Penn State due to injury… was the starter at tight end catching 10 passes for 66 yards… lone touchdown reception was in win at Austin Peay… had three games with multiple catches with high yardage game of 23 at Jacksonville State... 2008 (Sophomore): Played in nine games on special teams... did not record any statistics... 2007 (RS-Freshman): Appeared in one game on special teams against Southeast Missouri... 2006 (Freshman): Redshirted. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Class 4A first-team All-State by Illinois Football Coaches Association playing for coaches Dave Jacobs and Derek Leonard at Rochester High School... helped team make back-to-back Class 4A playoff appearances... second team All-Area as a junior... first-team All-Cornbelt Conference... special mention Illinois Basketball Coaches Association two times... first team All-Area in hoops and first team All-Conference... helped basketball team advance to IHSA Class A Sweet 16 as a junior. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in marketing.... No. 1 sports highlight was "going to the Sweet 16 in basketball"... son of Dennis and Nan Vehovic... father, Dennis, played football at Eureka College... brother, Ben, played junior college basketball and baseball... an uncle, the late Al Barlick, was a Major League umpire inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989.
