HIGH SCHOOL: Was a standout player on both sides of the football at Belle Vernon Area HS… as a quarterback threw for 1,023 yards and rushed for 1,189 yards as a senior with 32 total touchdowns (23 rush / 9 pass)… led team to a 10-1 record an the WPIAL Class 4A championship game… named All-State Class 4A and WPIAL Class 4A Player of the Year… Big Eight Conference Offensive Player of the Year and all-conference at defensive back… selected to play in the Big 33 Football Classic… also a basketball standout earning Observer-Reporter Boys Basketball Player of the Year two times…
