2011 (SENIOR): Second team All-Ohio Valley Conference at left guard position... started all 11 games...  blocked on offensive unit that ranked 27th in the nation in passing offense... was elected a team captain in the spring for the 2011 season... named to the preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference team as a guard... 2010 (JUNIOR): Top veteran returning lineman on a young offensive line... started first eight games of the year at left guard... moved to starting spot at left tackle against Austin Peay and Tennessee State... missed season finale at Illinois State due to injury... 2009 (SOPHOMORE): Played in ten games with nine starts at left guard… started first eight games of the season and missed two games with an injury… saw limited action in return against Tennessee State before starting FCS playoff game against Southern Illinois… graded out at 82 percent from the year with 36 decleater blocks... 2008 (FRESHMAN): Projected to redshirt the 2008 season, came on to start final two games of the year at left guard... graded out at 88 percent for the season playing 181 snaps... had eight decleater blocks... appeared in six games. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first team honors at guard and defensive tackle by the Fox Valley Association as a senior at Oshkosh West HS… played for coach Ken Levine... first team all-FVA as a junior… rated No. 14 top offensive lineman by WisFootball.net… team ranked first in Fox Valley Association in total offense at 385.2 yards per game with Zink anchoring offensive line. 

PERSONAL: Major is kinesiology... son of Stephen and Kathy Zink.
