EIU: 2009 Outlook: Will battle for playing time as a true freshman after being EIU's first early entry football player joining team in January. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped for coach Larry Cox at Lakota West HS... two-time All-Greater Miami Conference and Butler County selection… made 31 tackles, 11 for loss, with two sacks and a fumble recovery in 2008… made 19 stops with two sacks and one interception as a junior… second team All-Southwest District as a junior and senior… helped team post a 6-4 record as a senior... team captain... honor roll 

PERSONAL: Majoring in kinesiology... number one sports highlight was "getting first career interception as a junior against Cincinnati Elder HS"... son of Timothy and Rita Odom... father Timothy played football at Ohio State... uncle Steve played football at West Virginia... uncle Dennis played football at Thomas More College.
