2011 (JUNIOR): Played in all 11 games starting the final three games of the season at Rover... had 41 tackles (25 solo) including a tackle for loss at Murray State... second on the team with four pass break-ups... season high six tackles at Austin Peay... will graduate in spring of 2012 and not return for final year... 2010 (SOPHOMORE): Played in ten games as a reserve defensive back and special teams player... did not play at Tennessee Tech... finished season with 14 tackles (7 solo)... season high three tackles in season opener at Iowa and in overtime win at Tennessee State... credited with a half-tackle for loss at Tennessee State... 2009 (RS-FRESHMAN): Appeared in nine games playing in a reserve role or in nickel/dime packages… finished season with 13 tackles (7 solo)… biggest tackle game was six in win over UT Martin… lone pass break-up was in win over Tennessee Tech... 2008 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Aaron Peppers at Proviso East HS... played defensive back recording five interceptions to go along with 46 tackles as a senior… team posted a 5-4 record…. West Suburban Gold All-Conference… Academic All-State and Academic All-League… versatile athlete who also played quarterback and wide receiver… three sport athlete... team captain... defensive MVP. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in physical education... son of Lydia Cooper... uncle Corey Cooper played football at Purdue and was invited to training camp with Pittsburgh Steelers.
