2010 (Senior): First team All-Ohio Valley Conference... finished season with a 42.9 yards per punt average which ranked 8th in the NCAA... named OVC Special Teams Player of the Week on Oct. 3... hit a career long 86 yard punt against Southeast Missouri to set EIU Division I punting record... had 15 punts of more than 50 yards... downed 19 punts inside the 20-yard line... finished as EIU's career leader in punting average at 42.3 yards per punt breaking record previously held by Don Manzke (1979-82)... 2009 (Junior): Appeared in all 12 games ranking 9th in the NCAA in punting average at 42.0 yards per game… averaged ranked as the third highest in EIU single season history… had 14 punts downed inside the 20 yard line and 13 punts travel 50 yards or more… season long punt was 64 yards versus Tennessee State… led the OVC in punting but was not selected as either first or second team All-OVC... 2008 (Sophomore): Pre-season Lindy's All-American punter... averaged 39.7 yards per punt with 14 punts downed inside the 20-yard line... had six kicks of 50-plus yards with a long of 62... did not have enough punts to rank among national leaders... also holder for field goals and extra points... 2007 (RS-Freshman): Honorable mention All-American by Sports Network... second team All-OVC and All-OVC Newcomer team... ranked fourth in the nation in punting at 44.6 yards per kick... had a long punt of 61 yards with two punts of 60 yards or more and 12 punts at 50-plus... pinned nine punts inside the 20... earned OVC Newcomer of the Week honors after his punting duties versus Purdue... did not have a punt versus Indiana State as Panthers failed to punt for only the second time as a NCAA Division I school... broke school record for single season punting average formerly held by NFL All-Pro punter Jeff Gossett (1977)... 2006 (Freshman): Redshirted season.

HIGH SCHOOL: First team All-East Suburban Catholic league selection as a senior for coach Andy Bitto... All-Area... member of 2003 Illinois 6A State Championship team... also standout in soccer earning first team All-ESCL and All-Area honors... member of State ODP team... helped soccer team win sectional championship... played for Chicago Sockers soccer club team. 

PERSONAL: Finance major... No. 1 sports highlight was “a game saving punt during senior year that ultimately made the difference in the end of the game”... son of Stan and Tammy Cook... National Honor Society.
