2012 (SENIOR): Started all 12 games at center... second team All-Ohio Valley Conference selection... helped block for the nation's number six ranked offensive unit... 2011 (JUNIOR): Moved to the center position and started all 11 games... helped block for the nation's 21st ranked passing offense... 2010 (SOPHOMORE): Opened season as starter at right tackle... appeared in ten games missing one contest with injury... had eight starts on the year all at right tackle... 2009 (RS-FRESHMAN): Played in only four games in a reserve offensive line role… graded out at 86 percent playing only 21 snaps… credited with four decleater blocks... 2008 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played offensive tackle for coach John Rodenberg at Cincinnati Moeller HS… helped lead team to an 8-3 season… good, mobile athlete for an offensive lineman… four year member of team… first team All-Greater Catholic League. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in politcal science... son of Bob and Cathy Kapellas.
