Biography

EIU: 2006: Attended EIU but not eligible to play football in the fall... expected to compete for time as long snapper and on special teams units in 2007.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Troy Johnson helping Marshall HS post an 8-3 record in 2005... team advanced to second round of the Class 1A playoffs... finished prep career with 116 tackles, 33 solo and two fumble recoveries... two-time All-Wabash Conference selection... team captain.

PERSONAL: Majoring in industrial technology... son of Kim and Brenda Edington... an uncle, Brad Mars, played football at Eastern Illinois in the early 1980's.
