EIU: 2007 Outlook: Will start for second straight year at defensive end... can also move inside to play defense tackle... 2006: Started 12 of 13 games helping to anchor defensive line... ranked fourth on team with 52 tackles, best among defensive lineman... led team with 12 quarterback hurries including five against Jacksonville State... had two fumble recoveries and four tackles for loss... best game was nine tackle effort against Indiana State... 2005: Had 14 tackles in eight games with a fumble recovery... had one quarterback hurry... named Most Improved Defensive Lineman during spring practice... 2004: Recorded 29 tackles and three QB sacks as a redshirt freshman... two of three sacks came at Eastern Kentucky... had nine tackles at Eastern Michigan... also added three quarterback hurries and two pass break-ups... 2003: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Honorable mention All-Conference at Miami Beach High School for coach Rick Divita... was team’s ‘Defensive Lineman of the Year’... lettered twice in football, once in wrestling.

PERSONAL: Majoring in physical education... No. 1 sports highlight was "blocking a field goal to keep the lead in a high school game"... son of Carmen Torres.
