EIU: 2008 Outlook: Will start fall camp as top reserve at linebacker after missing most of 2008 spring drills... 2007: Missed season with a medical redshirt... 2006: Saw first action late in season during homecoming versus Murray State... called to action due to depleted linebacker corps... saw action in four games making four tackles... had two tackles at Tennessee Tech.

HIGH SCHOOL: Honorable mention All-Broward County by Sun Sentinel for coach Jim Mathisen at Piper High School... competed in Broward County All-Star game which is comprised from 33 schools... team captain... two time letterwinner in track... leading tackler.

PERSONAL: Majoring in pre-physical therapy... No. 1 sports highlight was "making a game winning sack during senior year"... son of Nathan Shortridge, Sr., and Paulette Shortridge.
