2010 (Junior): Was a preseason All-OVC candidate who started all 11 games... finished season with 44 tackles (24 solo)... had five tackles for loss two sacks... led team with ten quarterback hurries... finished season with 15 tackles against Tennessee State (7) and Illinois State (8)... credited with two tackles for loss at Tennessee Tech...  2009 (Sophomore): Started 11 games missing the Indiana State game with an injury… earned second team All-OVC honors as he led the Panthers in sacks with 5 which ranked fourth in the OVC… finished season with 31 tackles (19 solo) and 7 tackles for loss… biggest tackle game was six against Tennessee State… led team with six quarterback hurries including four in the win over Tennessee Tech… had a forced fumble in win at Austin Peay... 2008 (Freshman): Was expected to redshirt the season but was dominant on scout team and played first game of the season against Indiana State making 1.5 tackles for loss in the win... finished the season with 13 tackles and one sack. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned All-Area honors at defensive end playing for head coach John Ivlow at Bolingbrook HS... led a defense that allowed just 10.8 points per game… finished season with five sacks… Chicago Tribune special mention All-State… returned one fumble for a touchdown as a senior…. Helped team post an 8-3 record as they advanced to the IHSA Class 8A playoffs. 

PERSONAL: Major is art... son of Perry Conner and Tonya Burge... brother of former EIU All-American safety Tristan Burge.
