EIU: 2009: Started all 12 games at free safety giving him 37 straight starts to end his career... had 36 tackles on the season with 26 solo stops... finished career with 174 career tackles (99 solo)... had eight career interceptions... top game of the season was seven tackles (6 solo) against Tennessee State... 2008: Started all 12 games at free safety... second on the team with 72 tackles (38 solo), which ranked 21st in the OVC... second on team with three interceptions... one fumble recovery returned 50 yards against Tennessee State... had a career high 15 tackles (9 solo) to go along with one interception at Illinois... named OVC Defensive Player of the Week following game vs. Illinois... also had seven tackle games against Central Michigan and Tennessee State... 2007: Missed season with medical redshirt after off-season shoulder surgery... 2006: Started 12 of 13 games missing Southeast Missouri game due to injury... ranked fifth on team in tackles with 50 while leading squad with four interceptions... four interceptions came in four straight games (Tenn. Martin through Jacksonville St.)... ranked third in OVC in interceptions... season high 10 tackles at Illinois... one sack at Hawai'i... 2005: Played in ten games with one start in NCAA playoff game against Southern Illinois... had 16 tackles with one interception. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped for coach Byron Walker at American Heritage HS in Ft. Lauderdale... was Honorable Mention All-State and two-time All-Broward County... also lettered twice in track. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in physical education... No. 1 sports highlight was in high school “getting two interceptions and scoring a touchdown in my first start at cornerback”... son of Seymour, Sr., and Carol Loftman.. a relative, Autry Denson played college football at Notre Dame.
