Biography

EIU: 2007 Outlook: Enters fall camp as starter at quarterback... some inconsistency during spring practice may give other quarterbacks a chance to challenge for playing time... 2006: Played in 12 games taking over starting job against Southeast Missouri, to start final eight games... named to All-OVC Newcomer team... Named OVC Newcomer of the Week following first start against SEMO in which he went 16-of-22 for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns... season high of 275 yards came at Tennessee Tech... for the season was 122-of-224 for 1,349 yards and 12 touchdowns... transferred from Ball State in spring and put himself in position to battle for starting job with a solid outing in annual spring game.

BALL STATE: 2005: Played briefly in just two games... 2004: Lettering in seven game appearances with four starts as a freshman... threw for three touchdowns and 294 yards versus Western Michigan which was the 11th best single game effort in BSU history.. also had a 267 yard passing effort versus Eastern Michigan completing 21 passes... he completed 50.8% of his passes for 157.3 yards per game as Ball State completed year with a 2-9 record.

HIGH SCHOOL: Team captain for coach Dave Tanner at Dunbar HS in Estero, FL... he threw for 1600 yards and 13 touchdowns leading Dunbar to a 9-2 record as a senior... also lettered in baseball.

PERSONAL: Physical education major with an emphasis on exercise science... No. 1 sports highlight was "winning first college game"... son of Barry Stinson and Brett Langston.
