EIU: 2009: Played in all 12 games making ten starts as he was hampered by injuries during the season... finished year with 44 tackles (23 solo)... earned first team All-OVC honors as he led the Panthers with 16 tackles for loss, a number that tied for 3rd on the EIU single season list... set single game record with 7 tackles for loss during game versus Tennessee State televised nationally on ESPNU... finished career with 90 career tackles (53 solo) and 28 tackles for loss which ranks 9th on EIU career tackles for loss list... had interception during win at Austin Peay... 2008: Appeared in nine games with a start against Indiana State... made 16 tackles including 10 solo... had five tackles for loss... credited with one pass break-up... season high six tackles in start against Indiana State... 2007: Made immediate impact playing in all 12 games... had 30 tackles including 20 solo... ranked fourth on team with seven tackles for loss... added two sacks and two quarterback hurries... blocked field goal versus Samford that Rashad Haynes returned for a touchdown... also scored first collegiate points with a safety versus Samford. 

BOWLING GREEN: 2006: Played in four games finishing with two assisted tackles... BGSU finished season 4-8... 2005: Redshirted... named defensive scout MVP against Temple, Buffalo and Kent State. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Bill Connell at Quincy Notre Dame High School... 2004 first-team All-State... Academic All-State... Tri-State Player of the Year... led team to State 4A semifinals during senior year as team finished with a 10-3 record... set school record with 11 sacks during senior year... recorded 211 tackles during three varsity seasons... National Honor Society. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in accounting... No. 1 sports highlight was "being part of best football team in his high school's history"... son of Ken and Cindy Frericks... cousins Morgan and Audra Frericks played soccer at EIU and were members of the Panthers NCAA Tournament squads.
