SENIOR (2010-11): Appeared in all 29 games making 27 starts... tied for third on the team in scoring at 9.0 points per game... led team in steals at 42 which ranked 11th in the OVC... ended season with four straight double figure scoring games including 19 in season finale against Tennessee State... scored a career high 22 in win over Bradley earlier in the season... first career double-double was 10-point, 10-rebound effort at UT Martin... led team with 36 3-pointers made shooting 31 percent from the field.

JUNIOR (2009-10): Appeared in all 31 games with four starts on the season… provided energy and athleticism off the bench as he averaged 5.1 points per game… scored in double figures in five games with a season high 13 points at Jacksonville State (1/30)… named OVC Newcomer of the Week following win over Northern Illinois in ESPNU Bracketbuster game where he scored 11 points hitting 3-of-5 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the free throw line… ranked second on the team in steals with 26 with three games of three steals… season high 8 rebounds at Tennessee State (12/3).

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played first junior college season at Moorpark College averaging 7.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game... Moorpark finished with a 17-11 record... played second season at LA Trade Tech earning All-South Coast Conference North Division first-team honors. He averaged 11.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game with a high game of 32 points... helped LA Trade Tech post a 15-13 overall record as team averaged 85.9 points per game... 

CAL STATE BAKERSFIELD: Attended Cal State Bakersfield out of high school, redshirted season with program as they started first year of transition to NCAA Division I. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played two seasons of varsity ball as the point guard at Simi Valley High School... led the Pioneers as far as the CIF Southern Section Div. II quarterfinals…averaged 13 points and six assists as a senior for the Pioneers. 

PERSONAL: McKinney grew from 5-10 to 6-3 as a senior in high school... older brother Micah McKinney played basketball at Pepperdine from 2000–02…lists obtaining a master’s degree and playing professional basketball as his career objectives.
