Biography
SENIOR (2009-10): Played in all 31 games with 30 starts… finished career playing in 120 games which ties Henry Domercant for first on the career games played list… led team in rebounding at 6.6 per game becoming first player in school history to lead program in rebounding for four seasons… finished career with 786 rebounds to rank 4th on EIU all-time list… had eight games with double figure rebounds including 14 against Northern Illinois… had three double figure scoring nights with a season high 12 points at Tennessee State (12/3) which was a double-double night going with 10 rebounds… shot 54.3 percent from the floor to lead EIU… finished career ranking in career top ten for field goal percentage… ranked 6th in career blocked shots... finished career with ten double-doubles.
JUNIOR (2008-09): Started 29 of 30 games... finished second in OVC in field goal percentage at 60.6 percent... ranked fifth in league in rebounds per game at 7.5... scored career-high 22 points against Tennessee State (12/4) collecting second of six double-doubles of the season... six double-doubles on the season tied for fourth most in a single-season... season high 14 rebounds against Eastern Kentucky (1/15)... moved into 10th on the EIU career blocks list with 49... nine games with double digit rebounds for the season.
SOPHOMORE (2007-08): Appeared in all 29 games making 28 starts - lone miss was on EIU senior day... averaged 5.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game leading team in rebounding for second straight year... also had a team high 18 blocks... finished season shooting 52.5 percent from the field... collected lone double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds at Tennessee State with game televised on ESPNU... scored in double digits four times with season high 12 against Jacksonville State and at Tennessee Tech.
FRESHMAN (2006-07): Appeared in all 30 games with 19 starts... averaged 5.9 points and 6.3 rebounds as a true freshman... became only second freshman to lead EIU in rebounding in the NCAA Division I era... had double-doubles at Iowa State (12 pts, 11 reb) and at Tennessee Martin (13 pts, 10 reb)... just missed three other double-doubles by finishing with either nine points or rebounds... Ranked fifth in the OVC in rebounding... named OVC Freshman of the Week once.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Community Christian School in Stockbridge, Ga., playing two years for coach Linzy Davis...helped team compile a 38-4 record and finish second at National Association of Christian Athletes national tournament...helped team win National Elite Athletic Association Tournament...averaged 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks per game...twice named top defender and rebounder...selected to Atlanta All-Stars game in 2006...named to All-Tournament team at Morehouse College Tournament for Prep schools...career high 26 points to go along with 18 rebounds against North Atlanta Christian.
PERSONAL: Considers his father, family and first basketball coach in the Ivory Coast (Malik Daho) as his biggest sports influences...greatest sports moment was “winning a championship game in the Ivory Coast in 2002 and earning second place in the African Nations Championships in 2002”...3.5 high school GPA... majoring in accounting.
