EASTERN ILLINOIS: Competed in five meets for EIU during 2006 season... Top 25 finish at Austin Peay Invitational... best 8K time was 28:00 at the Bradley Classic... ran unattached during 2007 indoor season... during 2007 outdoor season ran 5,000 and 10,000 meter races... scored points for OVC Outdoor Championship team in 10,000 meters... season best in 10,000 came at Lee Calhoun Classic with a time of 33:45.93.

Greenville College: Competed for two years at Greenville College… earned freshman of the year and All-SLIAC Conference honors… helped team win SLIAC cross country championship.

High School: Prepped for coach Derek Eaton at Sullivan High earning varsity letters in track, cross country and basketball... All-Area… All-Okaw Valley Conference selection in cross country and track… National Honor Society.

Personal: Majoring in marketing… son of Ed and Cheryl Righter… number one personal sports highlight was “earning All-Conference as a freshman at Greenville College.”
