EASTERN ILLINOIS:  Competed in five meets for EIU during 2006 season... best 8K time was 28:37 at Bradley Classic... run unattached during 2007 indoor season... competed in three meets in 2007 outdoor season in the 10,000 meters... best time 10,000 time was 34:26.00 at the North Central College Gregory.

High School: Prepped for coach Jeff Kyle at Unity High School in Tolono, Ill., earning varsity letters in cross country, track and basketball… team MVP in track and cross country… team captain.

Personal: Majoring in physical education… son of Steve and Rhonda Towner… number one personal sports highlight was “finishing runner-up in 3,200 at conference championship as a junior.”
