Biography
2010-11: Finished with a 77.5 stroke average, which was fourth-best on the squad... had three Top 20 finishes, including a season-best eighth-place tie at the Butler Florida Invitational... ended up in 41st place at the end-of-season OVC championship.
2009-10: Ended his second season as a Panther with the third-best team stroke average of 75.3, playing in four events... had a season-best fifth place standing at the Tennessee State Big Blue Classic as he finished at an even par.
2008-09: Competed in six events in his first season at EIU, including all four fall meets... tied for 35th at the Butler Spring Invitational... had a season stroke average of 77.6.
HS: Was a three sport athlete at Rockford Lutheran HS for coach Chuck Black... earned four letters in golf, two in baseball and one in basketball... named golf team captain and MVP his senior year... earned All-Big Northern Conference all four years... also earned league honors in baseball as a senior... during his junior season his squad won regional and sectional titles... member of Honor Roll, French National Honors Society, and won the Army Reserve Scholar-Athlete Award.
PERSONAL: Son of Ned & Tari Flack... still undecided on a major... No. 1 personal sports moment was ‘winning the Rockford Boys Classic the last two years.”
OFF THE LINKS WITH KEVIN: Chose to come to EIU “because I felt that I couldn’t get a much better coach than Mike Moncel”... also enjoys playing basketball and baseball... currently driving a ‘98 Volvo... his favorite food is pizza and ice cream cake... if he could switch places with anyone for a day it would be his brother, Camden, “because he gets what he wants, when he wants it”... if he could bring anything from his hometown to EIU it would be “my friends”... his advice to a younger athlete is “hard work pays off, it really does.”
