Alex is a junior middle distance runner... did not compete during 2008 indoor season... outdoor season posted personal best of 1:57.78 in 800m at SIUE Twilight... participated in four 2007 indoor meets with a personal best of 1:59.54 in 800m... scored 800m time of 1:59.52 at SIU in only outdoor competition... HIGH SCHOOL: state qualifier in cross country at Palatine HS... member of IHSA Class 2A fifth place finisher in 4x800 relay team with a mark of 7:56.39... IHSA All-State… 4x800 fifth place finisher as a junior… MSC Champion in 4x800 as a senior… 4x400 indoor school record as a senior… cross country team placed second at state in 2003, 2004, 2005.
