Prepped at Niles Notre Dame High School earning varsity letters in track... state qualifier in high jump and triple jump... IHSA champion in the high jump as senior... third place IHSA state finisher in triple jump as a junior.is a senior specializing in the jumping events….. is one of the top jumpers in recent EIU history... indoors, ranks #4 in the triple jump (51-00.25), #3 in the high jump (6-10.75) and is #3 in the triple jump outdoors (50-11.50)... first team All-OVC at 2007 OVC Indoor Championships by winning the triple jump with a personal record of 50-11.50... twice cleared 50 feet in triple jump during indoor season... second team All-OVC in high jump... swept both events during 2007 OVC Outdoor Championships to earn first team All-OVC honors in both events... set a personal record at NCAA Regional hosted by Missouri... placed 7th to earn NCAA All-Region honors... tied OVC record in high jump at 6-10.75 at OVC championship meet... in 2006, was named the Ohio Valley Conference indoor "Athlete of the Year" after winning the triple jump at the indoor OVC championships and placed 2nd in the high jump (6-8) as part of an EIU 1-2 sweep... outdoor battled foot injury but still placed 4th at the Outdoor OVC championships in both the high jump and triple jump (49-1)... NCAA Regional qualifier in the triple jump after jumping season best of 49-6.25 at the Georgia Tech Invite... redshirted the 2005 season... in 2004, OVC conference champion in the triple jump in both the indoor and outdoor championships... also placed 2nd outdoors in the high jump and 3rd indoors.
