2012-13 ... Finished a busy season by competing in 12 different individual events, including all seven freestyle events... finished with the top season time in the 400-IM and the third fastest finish in the 200-Breast... improved his previous EIU Top 10 times in both the 400-IM (3rd) and 200-Breast (10th) at the end-of-season Summit League meet... while adding his name to the record book in the 1000-Free (10th).

2011-12 ... Saw full-time action in eleven individual events, including four free races, and a pair of breast, Fly and IMs... nabbed squad's best time in the 1000 and 1650-Free races... second-best finish in the 400-IM and third fastest time in 200-Fly... three of his top times, the 1650-Free, and 200/400-IM, came at the end-of-season Summit League meet.

2010-11 ... Swam in six individual events, including the 500-Free, 100-Back, 100/ 200-Breast, and 200/400-IMs… on the season, he finished with the second-best time in the 400-IM and third fastest finish in the 500-Free.

2009-10 ... As a true freshman he set the eighth fastest time in the 400-IM, which was the third fastest finish of the season by a Panther… also saw action in the 200-IM as well as both the 100/200 Breast events.

HIGH SCHOOL ... A local product, Bower swam for coach Courtney Kimbro at Charleston HS where he earned four consecutive letters... also named team captain both his junior and senior seasons... also set new school marks in both the 100-Breast 200-IM, and 500-Free events... earned academic honors as well.

PERSONAL ... Majoring in kinesiology & sports studies... son of Brian & Mary Bower... born on July 24.
